Phil Ivey Wins Triton Poker Turbo Event
Phil Ivey reached the $40 million live poker tournament winnings milestone on Sunday after he won $1 million from a Triton Poker turbo event.
The poker legend bested 61 other players during the event. It came after a lackluster performance at the World Series of Poker. Also, he finished in second place during a $20,000 Mystery Bounty last week.

According to a poker website, Santosh Suvarna’s elimination led to the final table. Also, Ivey won $91,500 and took the chip lead. But with only 41 large blinds in his stack, small-stack poker prowess would be essential to victory.

Petrangelo got a flush in the river to eliminate Ponakovs in fifth place for $285,500. Also, Ivey’s pocket jacks held to bust Biao Ding in sixth place for $223,200. Additionally, Ivey retook the lead.
During four-handed play, the blinds had grown so that even the most enormous stacks were on the verge of going all-in or folding. According to poker tutorials and news sites, Ivey’s pocket jacks eliminated Rodrigo Selouan. His fourth-place finish earned him $360,000.
Petrangelo had a great chance to double through Ivey with a better ace and win the high roller tournament in Europe, but he got sucked out and had to settle for third place and $468,900. Ivey would start heads-up play with a 3:1 chip edge.
